The one problem is it's not a normal size oven. We can't go to our local take n bake pizza shop and buy a 16" pizza because it won't fit. But that's okay, I still love my oven. However, I do experience some difficulty when hosting a dinner party or holiday; I can never fit everything in it.

On my last trip overseas, I spent a week in Dublin. I spent a lot of time walking through the city and along the banks of the River Liffey, perusing the collections of rare and antique books at famous libraries, and taking in great museum exhibits. But all that walking and intellectual stimulation caused me to work up quite an appetite, and I ate very well at a number of fantastic restaurants. One of my favorites was the trendy Bull & Castle Gastro Pub, located a stone's throw away from Christchurch Cathedral.

Start cooking by adding around 2 tbsp of vegetable oil onto the bottom of the cooker. Once hot, saute the onion and garlic and start browning the beef. Once it is brown on both sides, add the liquid (easy beef stew stock and tomato sauce) and the cover securely with the lid. Once you hear the cooker sizzle or if the indicator valve says the pressure is build up already, set your timer to 20 minutes.

Chili Con Carne is one of my favorite chili recipes ever and one that I love to cook often. In case you're wondering in Spanish the name means chili pepper with meat. You will find that most versions of chili con carne contain garlic, onions, chili peppers, cumin, ground beef and beans. In Texas it's almost a sin to put beans in chili but here we are going to add red kidney beans. Which are delicious in this wonderful version of the dish.

Combining the flavors of the beef, dark meat chicken, and the vegetables usually used in stews and slow cooking for 4 to 5 hours gives wonderful taste. I made mine with canned beef but I'm sure you would get similar results from the what you would from a butcher shop or deli.



Saute onions and chili pepper in a small amount of oil. Add to beans with remaining spices, the garlic, and stewed tomatoes. Let simmer for an hour or so. Salt to taste.

Perhaps a meat and vegetable stew sounds like a nice idea or a crockpot beef chili. You can make quite a few different international slow cooker recipes too, if your family is adventurous and enjoys tasting new cuisines.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Chop the onion, garlic, rosemary and cook them until soft. Add ground beef and brown. When the liquids starts to evaporate, add little bit of white wine and cook for some minutes more. Add crushed tomatoes and simmer for about 10-15 minutes. Spice with salt, pepper and oregano. Spray the baking dish with olive oil and add a layer of lasagna sheets, then meat sauce, grated cheese, basil and mozzarella cheese. Repeat the layers with remaining components. For the last layer add meat sauce, basil, grated cheese and mozzarella cheese. Cook in oven at 200 degrees for about 30 minutes. Before serving, let the lasagna rest for about 10 minutes.

Put 2 teaspoons of tomato puree and stir for 2 mins, then add fried potato and eggs into the masala(step 6) add 1 cup of water and boil it for 2 mins.

Planning ahead helps our family save money, and cuts additional stress out of trying to decide what is for dinner.
